The reason for me to set up this blog was to share 'lagu dodoi' or nursery rhymes with mothers out there in the cyber space. It started of when I had my first baby. In order to put her to sleep or to just play with her, I started searching for books and cds but I was quite dissapointed. The good ones was the english nursery rhymes. I couldn't find a malay cd which is suitable for me to use. I normally found incorrect rhymes or ultraman taro videos with rhymes as the background music. It was quite frustrating.
Afterwhile, I managed to find a blog which was dedicated to "Lagu Kanak-kanak & Dodoi Si Manja " at http://edorel.com/web/adriana/. It has since cease to operate. Therefore, I am opening this site so that all moms and dads can have fun singing to their children. A special "Thank You" to the owner of the above website for sharing these love local nursery rhymes which I stumbled upon in 2005.
